Project Details
The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Sciences (CECS) Masterplan and Birch Building Refurbishment project aimed to transform the university’s engineering and computer sciences precinct to meet the evolving demands of modern education. The masterplan covered the addition of 50,000m² of Useable Floor Area (UFA), creating a flexible, innovative space to support the restructuring of the college. The first stage of the masterplan was the refurbishment of the Birch Building, adding an additional 5,200m² of UFA and creating flexible teaching spaces and specialist engineering facilities that align with the university’s strategic vision for the future.
